Industrial engineering is a dynamic field that combines engineering sciences and 

management principles to improve processes and systems.

 
Today, we will discuss three key concepts that are fundamental to this field: 
-Lean manufacturing
-FTA
-Supply chain

- Lean Manufacturing: A production methodology that focuses on eliminating waste, optimizing processes, and maximizing value for the customer through continuous
improvement and efficient resource utilization.


- Failure Tree Analysis (FTA): A top-down method for identifying root causes of system failures using a logical tree structure.



- Supply chain: is the network of all the individuals, organizations, resources, activities and technology involved in the creation and sale of a product.
 A supply chain encompasses everything from the delivery of source materials from the supplier to the manufacturer through to its eventual delivery to the end user.
